Belton Independent Business Committee SWARM

(BIBC) is a group of local business owners and residents that are devoted to the economic growth of independently owned businesses in Belton.

Our Mission:

“To build awareness and continuous support for local businesses while developing a shop local atmosphere with in our community.”

Our Goals:

• Develop awareness of local businesses products and services.
• Promote community involvement in local business growth.
• Create a continuous support system for businesses.

SWARM builds awareness and continuous support for local businesses while developing a shop local atmosphere with in our community. SWARM brings community members into a preselected independently owned Belton business and encourages . SWARMERS are encouraged to spend of $10.00 or more. The Belton Independent Business Committee randomly selects SWARM locations, who meet SWARM criteria, at the Belton Chamber's monthly Business After Hours.

SWARM Criteria & Format

Criteria:
Businesses are chosen at random during Belton Area Chamber of Commerce events.
Members do NOT have to be present to win.
Target Businesses are retail and food.
Events will be held on the second Saturday of each month during the AM.
Event can be used for current chamber members
Business must commit to a minimum of 45 minutes for presentation.
